What is DiskParted?

DiskParted is a disk partitioning and management utility designed for GNU/Linux systems. It provides a clean, approachable interface over the complexity of disk management — whether you're setting up a new machine, resizing partitions, or managing storage across multiple drives.

It supports both GPT and MBR partition tables, is fully UEFI-aware, and ships with no telemetry or lock-in of any kind. The source code is publicly available on Codeberg under the GPLv3 license — you can inspect it, modify it, and redistribute it freely.
